A rebellious teenager navigates his way through the juvenile court system.

Respect

Stealing Cars premiered at the LA Film Festival in 2015 and was able to walk away with the Zeitgeist Award.

This film is just one giant conundrum for the TA staff. First off: With a plot focused on a troubled-slash-rebellious kid who is also being portrayed as the next Rudy -- but without the football or the education -- probably won't fly with a lot of moviegoers. The film's premise just seems sort of er, who cares?

Even with the weak plot, Stealing Cars was able to land itself a considerable supporting cast including William H. Macy, John Leguizamo and Felicity Huffman. Macy and Huffman are rarely on screen, so one can't help but wonder who they were doing favors for to take part in the project.

To top the strangeness off, we have Next Friday's Mike Epps playing a police officer. While the role doesn't make sense at all to us, the critics seem to think that his character is the strongest in the entire film. Whaaaaa?

Though the film might not have helped Emory Cohen's career in terms of playing the lead character, at least he still has Brooklyn.
