Trailer for Snatched.

After her boyfriend dumps her on the eve of their exotic vacation, impetuous dreamer Emily Middleton (Amy Schumer) persuades her ultra-cautious mother, Linda (Goldie Hawn) to travel with her to paradise. Polar opposites, Emily and Linda realize that working through their differences as mother and daughter - in unpredictable, hilarious fashion - is the only way to escape the wildly outrageous jungle adventure they have fallen into.

You may not be familiar with Director Jonathan Levine, but here is a list of film he previously directed:

The Night Before
Warm Bodies
50/50
The Wackness
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane

Also, Director Jonathan Levine likes to make a cameo in all of his films, so you will have to see if you can spot him in Snatched.

The script was written by Katie Dippold, and then was later rewritten by Schumer and her sister Kim Caramele.

So far we have only seen the Red Band Trailer, which is really not that "red band". And now with this new trailer we get to see a lot more footage. It pays a little more attention to the guy she meets in Ecuador and we get to see more of Ike Barinholtz & Wanda Sykes. But, there is one critical scene they are missing which was in the red band version, where her boyfriend says he cannot go on the trip because his band is blowing up...which is why the mother and daughter duo embark on this adventure.

While this looks like a fun film, it is definitely an On Demand type of film for me. I will skip seeing this in the theaters and catch it when I can watch in my living room looking for a good laugh. The mother daughter juxtaposition sets itself up perfectly for a buddy film that we have not really seen before. There looks to be tons of comedy in this film plus a compelling adventure story which has me intrigued to see the film just not rush out on opening weekend.
