A middle-aged actress Judith, along with her sister Barbara, adult daughter Michelle and teenaged daughter Eva, search for love, only to discover how chaotic and irrational men and relationships can be. Judith searches for creative and smart men only to find them as shallow as the average Joe, Michelle desperately seeks to assert herself as an independent, responsible woman only to be tempted by her aunt Barbara's fiancé, who Barbara, despite her desire to be a mother, is not sexually attracted to. All of this is told through the eyes of Eva who is just discovering love for the first time when she begins a relationship with her crush at school. All these stories come together in a comedic celebration of the maelstrom that is love.
