Bobbie is a high school senior who leads a double life. Bubbly socialite to the masses, she's also known to an exclusive coterie of nerds as a secretly obsessive scrabble shark. When Rajat, her geeky scrabble companion, decides it's time to strike out and ask her on a date, he finds he's running headlong into the social order that dictates who talks to who and when and how in a Singapore International High School. But as Rajat continues to plough forward towards inevitable humiliation, Bobbie finds her own loyalties and sense of her place in the world, tested. And when it comes down to it, the choice between Mikey, the muscular jock that she fancies, and Rajat, the romantic dweeb on his knees, she discovers is more a choice of whether or not to be faithful to herself than she had ever expected.
