Shut In is a heart-pounding thriller starring Naomi Watts as a widowed child psychologist who lives an isolated existence in rural New England. Caught in a deadly winter storm, she must find a way to rescue a young boy before he disappears forever.
Besides Directing plenty of TV episodes, this will only be the second time Farren Blackburn is at the helm of a feature film. The other film was Hammer of the Gods (2013).
Shut In will be the first collaboration between Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay. But the pair are also slated to star in their second film together, The Book Of Henry, which is due out in 2017. See will also play a mother in this film which is about a single mother raising a child genius.
Here we go again. Another interesting and unique story line from Hollywood which looks great. You have a mother who is taking care of a handicapped boy who starts to "see" things. You do not know if she has gone mad or if the terrors are really there.
To me the best thing about this trailer and movie is Naomi Watts. She is an amazing actress and looks to do a great job here. You can feel all of emotions as if you are right there terrified and confused with her.
