Sex, Love & Therapy Trailer

in Sex, Love & Therapy | Posted on March 29, 2016 Runtime: 1:39

Trailer for Sex, Love & Therapy, which used to be titled The Missionaries.

Sex, Love & Therapy is a sexy romantic comedy about Lambert (Patrick Bruel), an ex-sex addict turned marriage counselor who hires the sultry, sex-crazed Judith (Sophie Marceau) as his assistant. Lambert’s self-imposed celibacy is sorely tested by Judith’s determination to romance him. Will her unbridled sexuality derail Lambert’s newfound realization that love must come before sex?

If you are wondering where you've seen the actress before, that is Sophie Marceau, who was once not only a Bond girl in The World Is Not Enough, but she also was the adorable princess who fell for Mel Gibson's William Wallace in Braveheart. Considering that these films were fifteen to twenty-plus years ago, I must say that she has aged amazingly well. I can only wonder if the body-only shots are her or a body double. If it's her... wowza!

My biggest concern when watching the Sex, Love & Therapy trailer is why it took two years for this romantic comedy to finally come to the United States with the help of Strand Releasing. Is it because Americans are too sensitive about film's dealing almost exclusively with non-committal sex? Possibly.

Other than that, Sex, Love & Therapy seems like a good time for middle-aged audiences, but not for me.
