In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter.
San Andreas will mark the second time Director Brad Peyton and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson have worked together. The other film was Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. It also looks like Brad Peyton will direct Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon but it is yet to be seen if The Rock will come back for the third Journey film.
