Three sisters are growing up together. Rosa is nine years old and admires her gifted sister Anna every bit as much as she feels incredibly jealous of her. She also envies her little sister, Helena, for the moments she shares with Anna and often feels like an outsider when she plays with them, which in turn makes her feel like withdrawing into her own little world. As Rosa tries more and more to be like Anna, tensions between the three sisters grow and Rosa's jealousy begins to take on a life of its own.
