Seventy-year-old furniture restorer Yaakov Fidelman (a thorny Sasson Gabai, perfect in the role) feels more at home amongst his lovingly cared-for antiques than he does with people, even his own family. When his business partner Max is found dead, expiring in the arms of a prostitute, no less, Yaakov must confront the fact that Max--the financial half of the duo--had not exactly been truthful with the monetary facts. He's broke. The taciturn Yaakov must take the reins and figure out how to salvage not only his business but his life--his grasping son Noah (Nevo Kimchi) wants to sell the shop from under him. And then his new apprentice Anton (Henry David)--who just happens to be falling in love with Noah's pregnant wife-- finds an 1882 Steinway piano hidden under years of detritus at the back of the shop...
