Babak Jalali's wry comedy, inspired by the films of Aki Kaurismäki, depicts the Iranian immigrant experience as reflected through a scrappy Persian-language radio station in San Francisco, where Afghanistan's first rock band, Kabul Dreams, hopes to jam with the legendary Metallica.
