Though we haven't seen them in any of the trailers for the film, both Akon and Michael Bolton will have on-stage cameos where they perform besides Conner (Andy Samberg).

If you have any concerns about this comedy, allow us to point you to a couple videos including "Spring Break Anthem", "YOLO", and "I'm on a Boat". Once you have watched those hilarious digital shorts, you are (almost) prepped for Popstar.

If you were to tell me that The Lonely Island had created a feature movie, I wouldn't need to see a single trailer to convince me of a theatrical viewing. I'd still go see whatever they came up with in theaters, as I adore these guys. I've spent so much time on their YouTube channel that it's not even funny; well, it's hilarious actually.

When it comes to Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, the feature trailer shows a lot that we've already seen before -- we were really hoping for a new red band trailer -- but that doesn't mean the preview limits new gags and jokes. The comedy looks to throw jokes by the minute in a fashion similar to Spy or MacGruber. And, yes, I loved MacGruber... so suck it.

And kudos for getting Seal to find humor in his facial scars, all before getting attacked by a lose wolf. #lol

Yes, the film does look goofy as hell and giving Lonely Island a running time beyond three minutes seems like a risk, but Key & Peele pulled it off with Keanu, so who are we to judge?
