A comprehensive look at other issues related to hunger such as obesity, morbidity, student achievement, military readiness, national security, and the environment are also explored in the film. Sadly in the US over 96 billion pounds of food is dumped into landfills every year. While the film educates with personal stories that are heart wrenching the film focuses on solutions, creating change, and hope.
