Noor Trailer (2011)

Trailer for the short film Noor.

Inspired by a true story of Noor, a 10-year-old Palestinian refugee, who wants to be like any other kid in her neighborhood: go to school, make friends, and dream of a future. But her adopted mother has other plans for Noor. She forces her to work the streets selling novelty items to tourists and locals, with the entire money going to support her comfortable lifestyle.

Noor half-heartedly obeys her mother's orders. While alone on the streets, she tries to teach herself to read. When her mother catches her not selling, Noor is given an ultimatum.
