Kevin's friends have been his real family ever since his mother's untimely death. Now, they're a group of 20-somethings in a state of arrested development in a dried up midwestern town. As years pass, Kevin and friends make enemies with the hard working people in the town, struggling to make ends meet while refusing to grow up. It becomes clear that Kevin must leave the town he loves in order to save himself from it. Their world is at a standstill until Kevin's last day in town -- the group is back together for a bittersweet farewell and the spirit of change is in the air. Is it possible that Kevin will lead the way for all of them to do something with their lives?
