Joe, from 29 Palms, California has one goal in life – to be part of the Vans Warped Tour. The only problem is that nobody has ever heard of him. Mike Posner is in pretty much the opposite scenario, he’s got a radio hit so plenty of people know him but his brand of pop music does not mesh with the alternative/punk ethos that the Vans Warped Tour grew up on. Chris Drew is a punk at heart and he has a hard time reconciling the commercial bent the tour has taken with his vision of music as art. Mitch from Suicide Silence sports tattoos up through his neck and screams songs about the desolation of human existence, you would never guess his biggest care and concern is being the best father he can be.

No Room For Rockstars travels the country with these four young musicians as they sweat it out on the notoriously brutal Vans Warped Tour. Their unique stories combine to illustrate the state of the music industry and the impossible odds faced by those who wish to be part of it.
