Nina Forever Theatrical Trailer

Trailer for Nina Forever that was created for the film's theatrical release on February 12th, 2016, from Epic Pictures Group.

Holly wants to save Rob, has fallen in love with him. She is training to be a paramedic and works a dead end job in a supermarket where Rob is the only remarkable thing; lost and angry since the death of his girlfriend Nina. Drawn into a relationship, the first time they’re in bed together so is Nina. A tangled and bloody mess of broken limbs, she is very much dead but still here, still talking, still angry...

However Holly doesn’t freak out and run – she is determined to be the one who heals Rob’s wounds. She can deal with the dead girl sharing their bed, their lives, their minds. If it’s what Rob needs, it’s what Holly will do, whatever the consequences...

Nina Forever screened at SXSW and critics seemed to have loved it. Though not that many reviews have been counted, the film is batting 100% with the critics. What's crazy is that the film is described as many things including: romantic, anti-romantic (what?), sexy, funny, beautiful, haunting, smart, harrowing, charming ridiculous, funny and morbid. Throw in nudity and it seems like our type of horror!

As shown in the trailer for Nina Forever, lots of blood is used in the film, especially in the bed. To prevent the fake blood from sticking to the actors, the production crew mixed in sex lube. Seems a win-win.

Considering that we didn't have a chance to see Nina Forever with its limited release, we're happy to find Epic Pictures was up to the challenge of distributing such an interesting take on the horror franchise.

Unlike the red band trailer for the film, we don't get to see Nina's actual arrival, which makes sense considering that the scene is a bit too R-rated for a green band trailer. Instead we get to see the looks of shock on both Rob and Holly. It's a great scene and almost has just as strong of an effect on the viewer as the actual moment of er, ressurection.
