Matt Bellows, a world renowned Archaeologist is unknowingly about to change the world. Late one night, while scanning the image of a sculpture into his computer, Cyber Museum, he discovers another image lodged inside the sculpture. He is able to break open the sculpture – and is astonished to find the precious Gorgos Stone – an artifact that has only been talked about as rumor and myth for years. Hoping to uncover the secrets behind the Stone, Matt begins to scan it into the computer but is shocked to see it literally disappear in front of his eyes. In an instant the evil Gorgos appears; free and vowing revenge upon all the gods who entrapped him in the stone. Overwhelmed and confused, Matt reaches toward the image on the screen only to be swallowed into the “Alter World’ himself.

While searching for clues to their father’s disappearance, Matt’s teenage children, Alex and Cleo, discover the portal in the computer. Like a magic looking glass, the portal transports Alex and Cleo into a kingdom where myth and folk tales come alive. In each episode, Alex and Cleo encounter and fight superhuman and mythological creatures. Together, they face the cosmic struggle between good and evil, and in the process, discover their personal quest to find their father is tied to the fate of civilization as we know it.
