Medium Raw Trailer (2008)

Veteran detective Elliot Carbon and his rookie partner Johnny Morgan are hot on the trail of a sadistic serial killer known as the Wolf. Eight-year old Bailey Abbot has gone missing, becoming the latest of the Wolf's "Red Riding Hood" victims. The detectives follow the fairytale killer to Bailey's grandmother's house. In the basement of the old Abbot residence they discover the gruesome remains of her babysitter. Concealed in the darkness, the Wolf now stalks his new prey. Lunging from the shadows, he slashes Elliot with razor sharp metallic claws and a hydraulic jaw killing him instantly. Frantically Johnny blasts into the darkness until his gun is empty. The Wolf is down - but not out...

Three months later, Johnny escorts Harold Grierson "the Wolf" to Parker's Asylum for the Criminally Insane where they specialize in extremely deviant behavior. Dr. Jamie Morgan, Johnny's wife, works in the hospital under the supervision of Warden Dr. Robert Parker and is placed in charge of the Wolf's rehabilitation. Concerned for his wife's safety, Johnny attempts to get her off the case, but she refuses and assures him that Parker's Asylum is well prepared. Waiting for Jamie's shift to end, Johnny befriends a young girl, the granddaughter of one of the nurses.

The Asylum houses some of the rarest and most terrifying patients in the world. Among them are Mabel Hatcher a 400lb. cannibal, Benjamin Jacobs "Benny the Bull", a mammoth schizophrenic who's violent tendencies are triggered by the color red, Oliver Walthrop, a delusional elderly man who is convinced he can blend into his surroundings and has a penchant for collecting human toes. And now the Wolf...

Suddenly the power goes out. They are trapped. Bedlam ensues. Red emergency lighting takes over. Cell doors unlock, phone lines are dead and screams are useless. The staff panics as the violent inmates spill out into the halls. The red light triggers Benny - he rampages. Hatcher captures Jamie and heads straight for the kitchen, eager to share her favorite recipes for human flesh. Johnny's worst nightmare has been realized. Somehow the Wolf has slipped back into his metallic armor and has orchestrated the perfect massacre..
