Mary Poppins Returns is based on the books by P.L. Travers.
The film will be released 54 years after the original Mary Poppins (1964) starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke.
This is as much a tease as you will see in a teaser trailer. I was expecting to see more when I first heard they would show a "trailer" during the Oscars. Anytime Hollywood attempts to remake a classic film, such as Mary Poppins, you have to be concerned how they will attack. Will it play homage to the original or will they try to make it more modern. I guess we will have to wait and see when a full trailer is released, until then, this is just a taste.
