Sara Leblanc, a young woman from Montreal, works at her mother's pet supplies store where she is constantly teased about David, a young accountant who seems to have his eye on her. But Sara has other things on her mind. Now, after numerous postponements, she is finally going spend a fishing weekend back with her dad in Lac-St-Jean, northern Quebec. That's when the phone rings; her dad's cancer took a sudden turn for the worse and he died. Sara is determined to go fishing in his memory. That's when she runs into an old elementary school classmate, Dan, a surly young man who works with his brother at their father's fishing lodge. When the two reconnect, a romance flourish and leads them on an adventure that will put their lives in peril.
