Trailer for the documentary Komeda: A Soundtrack for a Life.

The short life of the Polish jazz musician and composer Krzysztof Trzcinski, known as Komeda, in an auteur film based around sound. The soundtracks written by Komeda compose a biography that represents a substantial piece of film history. The background is a period of intense social changes. Polanski, Skolimowski, Carlsen and Wajda, among others, remember a friend, as well as a collaborator, and a time when music and image were formal elements of equal importance in cinema.
