Joshy's friends aren't going to let his cancelled wedding get in the way of the bachelor party.

The comedy had its premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, where critics and audiences walked away giving the film mixed reviews. Though not exactly knocking it out of the park, Joshy was still able to land both Hulu and Lionsgate a few months later.

First off, it's hard to watch the trailer for Joshy and not think of Search Party. The story is nearly identical and even the cast is nearly identical. Where that film succeeded was it knew to celebrate being Rated-R with a red band trailer.

This second attempt at bachelor but not bachelor party shenanigans looks less exciting than the first go around. Maybe it's just the trailer, but when you have a plot that opens every door for unlimited debauchery and instead of getting the audience amped up for all that comes with that, we are instead left yawning. Yep--Something is definitely wrong. Whoever edited this trailer, let him or her go, and try again with a red band please.
