Jack the Dog is the nickname of a dedicated and passionate photographer (Nestor Carbonell)-who until recently spent the majority of his free time sleeping with countless beautiful women.
The story of Jack the Dog opens as he returns from Paris where he finds himself in crossroads in life. Feeling empty and fed up with his promiscuous lifestyle, he vows to his pal Buddy (Travis Fine) that he will find love and become a "married guy." Jack immediately seduces and marries Faith, a "mature woman with great legs." They have a child, Samuel, who surprises Jack by becoming his first pure love of his life. Although married, Jack does his best to hide his cheating ways, going to hilarious lengths to cover up his promiscuities. When Faith can no longer abide by Jack's unfaithful ways, she divorces him, and Jack realizing how important his son is to his life finds himself stepping up and taking custody of young Sam. Faith decides to move to England and Jack is forced to accept responsibility for his son, Sam (Andrew Ferchland), and in doing so discovers something he was unable to find pursuing and sleeping with countless women...true love! Jack's personal journey makes him take on many new responsibilities - first his son, and later for his aging father. These pivotal and emotional events promote Jack's evolution from "the dog" to manhood.
Through Jack's hilarious and hellatious sexual encounters with a bizarre range of "mad women" and the obvious love and affection for his son, Sam - Jack becomes a portrait of a sexy, loving, flawed, compassionate man - who ultimately takes responsibility for his own foibles and makes peace with his past.
