Trailer for Informant.

Jamie Meltzer’s brilliant documentary political thriller has a twist: we know who done it. His name is Brandon Darby. He started out as a leftwing activist and New Orleans do-gooder and ended up accepting standing ovations at Tea Party conventions. Along the way, his ideals shifted — or at least his notion of who the good guys and the bad guys are — and he became an FBI informant. Hero or villain? Patriot or turncoat? Snitch or savior? When two young men end up storing Molotov cocktails in their basement, that’s when things really get interesting…
