As crazy as it sounds, Halle Berry was at first considered for the role of Mrs. Molle. The actress was quickly dismissed, however, when Zoe Saldana was seen as the more bankable actress. Times have changed, eh?!
I'm a big fan of Graphic Novels, so I was surprised that I Kill Giants has gone under the radar for me. I'd think that I would have at least heard of this story, let alone the production. Right? But, then again, the cast feels very minimal and tight, so maybe that's it. Excuse making? Maybe!
Either way, I'm not entirely sold on what I'm seeing here just yet. It feels a whole lot like A Monster Calls, but that is entirely based on the trailer alone, with no knowledge of the source material. Case in point - Are these giants real? Or are they limited to a child's imagination? Hopefully the second trailer gives better insight -- and more visuals -- on these giants.
