In the sequel, when Lou (Corddry) finds himself in trouble, Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future. Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past... which is really the present.
You may have noticed a lot of Adam Scott in this installment and none of John Cusack. Consider it a talent swap, though Scott is definitely playing a different character; sweet relief.
A green band trailer that is actually better than the red band trailer? Say it isn't so, but it is. Trailer definitely shows more of the story, which looks to open doors to plenty of laughs. A fan of the first installment, can't help but look forward to this one.
