Docu is structured around the life of Jini Dellaccio, the photographer, artist and mystery at its center. At 93, she reflects on her life’s pursuit of art, mentors a new generation of musicians and rock photographers and takes on the latest in digital camera technology to capture popular quartet, The Moondoggies, some 50 years after her first rock band photo shoot shook up the industry.

We move from Jini’s Depression era childhood to her own musical emergence in the Jazz Age. We see how the influence of her mother, an orphan who taught herself to play violin in the town symphony, enabled Jini to start over in her middle age and break into a field dominated by men.

Her success in connecting with the music and the young people who made it resulted in images with a life, energy and sense of place that had rarely been seen in rock photography prior.
