Chun Chun, a 28-year-old, headstrong manga animator, is too busy to accompany her 76-year-old father to see the Great Wall of China. When her father passes away with a heart attack at the Great Wall, all she is left with are regrets and a photograph of a woman her father was holding onto. In honor of her father, she sets out to finish his unfulfilled quest to find the woman in the photo, Xiu Qian. As she starts her search, she has no idea that she’s in store to uncover an epic love story. She sets off begrudgingly with her private investigator guide, Mr. Fang. As she goes to great lengths to find the mysterious woman in the photograph, she doubts her father’s faithfulness to her mother, and at the same time learns more about herself and reflects on her role as a daughter.
