Feature trailer for Granito: How to Nail a Dictator.

In 1982, Pamela Yates, a young and, in her own judgment, unknowing US documentarist filmed When the Mountains Tremble. Shown at Sundance in 1984, her film made a huge impact with its scathing indictment of the Reagan administration's support for the Guatemalan generals in their acts of genocide. Twenty-five years later, Yates returns to her earlier work and to Guatemala. With much new material, she documents, for Granito, the slow but increasing momentum of the Mayan people's quest for justice and democracy. Simultaneously, Yates is troubled by her own moral responsibility in witnessing the atrocities of the past without acting.
