The World War II epic Generation War has been generating provocative discussions around the world about the way modern Germany is addressing the roles that average Germans played in the war. On January 25, 2014 Music Box Films and the Goethe-Institute of Chicago presented a special panel discussion about Generation War. The Panel was moderated by Ron Falzone, Associate Professor, Cinema Art+Science, Columbia College, and included panelists Sara Hall, Associate Professor of Germanic Studies at UIC; Neal Pease, Professor of History, and Department Chair, at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; and Patricia Brett Erens, Adjunct Professor at the School of the Art Institute.
