This will be the second film that Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams star in together. The first was State of Play.

To say Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are a duo is an understatement. Although they do not have many films under their belt, they have only directed films as partners. They have done two short films (What Babies Do and Audio Tour) and Vacation (starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate) together. They are also slotted to Direct the upcoming film Vacation Guide to the Solar System starring John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

This film looks to be a comedic wild over the top ride. So, it is fitting that one of the star is Jason Bateman because the film has a similar comedic fell like Horrible Bosses...a role that is all too familiar for Jason. The characters he plays majority of the time are fairly similar: Horrible Bosses, Juno, Arrested Development, Bad Words, etc.

The interesting thing will to see how Rachel McAdams does in a lead role of a dry comedy movie...something that is new for her. We are used to seeing Rachel in a drama. She was in Wedding Crashers (one of the best comedies of all time), but even there she was not in a comedic role.

Game Night looks like one of those fun movies that you do not have to think too much while watching and you will get some good laughs. I like that it has quite a unique story line, but based on this one trailer I am worried that the comedy will not be enough to carry the film. Until I see more to convince me otherwise, I will wait for this film to On Demand.
