Expanding upon events set in motion in 2015 and 2017’s blockbuster films that grossed almost $950 million globally, the new installment arrives for Valentine’s Day 2018. Fifty Shades Freed is directed by Fifty Shades Darker’s James Foley (Fear, House of Cards) and once again produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and Marcus Viscidi, alongside E L James, the creator of the culture-spanning blockbuster series.

This third installment in the Fifty Shades franchise was filming in Nice during the terror attacks of July, 2016.

Though it was once rumored that Jamie Dornan was not going to follow up his role as Christian Grey, putting the franchise in jeopardy. It's now obvious that was not the case. And, for those sick of these films, feel good knowing this is the last installment.

I'm a dude, so obviously the Fifty Shades films don't exactly make sense to me. The same holds true for Fifty Shades Freed, which is able to create some -- what I hope to be -- unrealistic drama. Now it turns out that both of our lovers have skeletons in their closets. Who knew...

Yep, not into it, but at least the thriller part of the genre has been amped up a bit.
