The teaser trailer for IFC Films' Fear Me Not.

Mikael has the perfect life. He is professionally successful, a faithful husband, a doting parent, and settling into a well-earned sabbatical at his serene country home. But when Mikael's complacency sours into restlessness, he agrees to participate in a drug trial for an experimental antidepressant. Finding himself unexpectedly rejuvenated, Mikael instantly swears by the new medication, until the trial is called off due to a particularly alarming side effect. Unwilling to cede his newly discovered vivacity, Mikael sustains a secret—and escalating—regimen of drug use. Insidious at first, the violent side effects soon permeate Mikael's life as he slowly degenerates into something very different from what was promised on the label.

Kristian Levring, the fourth of the directors of the Dogme95 film movement (The King is Alive), here steps outside the parameters of the Dogme manifesto to expertly craft a chilling psychological thriller. Fear Me Not turns on virtuosic performances from Danish stars and Dogme stalwarts Paprika Steen (The Celebration, The Idiots, Open Hearts) and Ulrich Thomsen (The Celebration, The Weight of Water, The World is Not Enough) to breathe life into this modern Jekyll and Hyde story.
