When Marie Antoinette (Diane Kruger) finds out that her name tops the revolutionaries' list of royalty to execute, she turns to her faithful servant Sidonie (Léa Seydoux) to help her plan an escape from Versailles. Neither the Marie Antoinette nor Sidonie yet realize the lengths to which the young girl will go for the Queen.
