According to Warner Bros, this is the final Trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol and Ezra Miller.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The Fantastic Beasts films are sure to have a few big reveals for the Harry Potter franchise, with one big one being why Newt Scamander is allowed to practice magic and walk around armed (with a wand). As the first Harry Potter story told us, Hagrid was expelled and therefore no longer allowed to use magic. Newt had the same fate, but instead is seen running around using magic without question. And why? Well, JK Rowling says that bit of detail will be explained in the films.

Though we only saw a photo of Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, The Crimes of Grindelwald promises an expansion of that role.

Big reveal indeed! While the latest trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald definitely pitches a story with more complexity -- and hopefully less beasts -- than the first installment -- we also learn that Nagini is in fact a witch locked as a snake. At least, that's how it looks from this single preview.

Everything looks good but, as mentioned, I'm really hoping they focus on the depth of the strife between Grindelwald and Dumbledore, along with a bit of their history. The beasts are neat and all, but they took so much away from the story of the last installment.
