Despicable Me 3 Feature Trailer (2017)

Feature Trailer for Despicable Me 3.

The team who brought you Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, returns to continue the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions.

The animated film is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and executive produced by Chris Renaud.

Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central’s global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon. Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

This may be Steve Carell's last film as Gru. However, Carell stated that if he was asked to do a cameo in any future Minion sequels, he happily would.

Despicable Me 3 Feature Trailer 1
Agnes's voice actress Elsie Fisher from the first and second movies was replaced by Nev Scharrel due to Fisher getting too old for the role.

This film will feature a new villain, Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker). Other villains in the Despicable Me franchise have been Vector, El Macho, and Scarlet Overkill. Voiced by Jason Segel, Benjamin Bratt, and Sandra Bullock respectively.

This trailer is completely different from the First Trailer, which focused on the new villain Balthazar Bratt (voiced by Trey Parker). Here, the main focus is on another new character, Gru's twin brother Dru. This if the first time we get to see this new addition and it looks to be a great character.

Despicable Me 3 Feature Trailer 2
Dru is going to add a ton to the story line and plenty of humor. I love how they made Dru a polar opposite from Gru. Dru is upbeat and successful while Gru now has no job and perpetually grumpy. Oh, and Dru has beautiful locks of golden blonde hair.

The twin idea has been kept a pretty good secret as it has not been mentioned in of the synopsis and was completely left out of the first trailer, which I love. I think this adds a great new element and I was already planning on seeing it with my kids, but now I am even more excited and hopeful that the third installment will not disappoint.
