After debuting at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, the film was picked up by Fox Searchlight pictures for a release on April 8, 2016.

A successful investment banker struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash.

This is not the first film Jake Gyllenhaal and Chris Cooper have had roles in the same movie. The others were Jarhead and October Sky.

This Trailer is great at setting up the mood of the film. I love the opening third with the voice over monologue from Jake Gyllenhaal's character Davis Mitchell about his complaint over the vending machine issue right after his wife died. It shows perfectly where Davis is mentally after such a tragic loss and grabs the viewers attention with the juxtaposition of his lack of emotion to the intense scene of the car crash.

Also love the addition of Heart's "Crazy on You" song added to the last third of the trailer just as things start to get somewhat "crazy".
