Trailer for Half-Sister.
After the death of her mother, who had protected her from the world, Nénette (Josianne Balasko), a simple-minded woman who thinks at the level of a little girl, discovers in a letter the identity of her father, a pharmacist in Angers. In hopes of escaping being sent to an institution, she goes off in search of him. But instead of her father, she finds her half-brother, Paul (Michel Blanc), who turns out to be a bitter man who took over his father's business instead of following his dream of becoming a pianist. Paul is less than thrilled at the arrival of his "embarrassing" half-sister. Refusing to take her in, he is instead visited by a nice bit of karma: under the influence of drugs for one day, Paul is generous, happy and sensitive. The next morning, however, once the drug has worn off, his nasty side comes back...
