Impulsive and unpredictable, Patrick seems to breeze through life. Following his mother’s suicide, he seeks to bring to justice the man heholds responsible for her death. Years before, his mother had an affair with one Dr Borz, a womaniser who forgot all about her as soon as their night of passion was over. With obsessive determination, Patrick tracksdown this man - his presumed father - who has long since established his own life, replete with attractive wife, pubescent daughter, slightly dim-witted son, alcoholic ex-wife and spacious aquarium. Patrick turns up uninvited on Borz’s sixtieth birthday and leaves everyone in no doubt that they are about to witness an unforgettable party. Judgement Day has apparently arrived for, as it says in the Bible, that which was never really meant to have a beginning, shall end.
