A man spends his days riding the subway back and forth through the city, trying to mantain his facade of success. He was fired from his job several months ago, something not even his pregnant wife knows. As he is searching for a new job on his laptop, a young beggar woman walks through the train, asking for money for her and her newborn child. When her tricks for earning money are exposed by the man, he realizes that he and the woman might have more in common than he can accept.
