Ken Kamoshida, simply put, a superstitious and a rather 'disappointing' guy. After getting raid off from a company, ending up as a fortune teller. Kamoshida's biggest enemy is 'black cats,' which are identified as sign of misfortune. However, a black cat always crossed his path at the major turning points in his life. Then one day, a big fat black cat, Lucy, wanders into his apartment. Out of a strong sense of rejection, Kamoshida closes the shutters and shudders in his room. Next morning, he finds two newborn black kittens. The kittens look up at Kamoshida, shivering. Unable to ignore the helpless newborns, he takes them in. This tiny event changes his personality and even his future.
