Book Club Trailer (2018)

Trailer for Book Club starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen & Mary Steenburgen.

Diane (Diane Keaton) is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage, Vivian (Jane Fonda) enjoys her men with no strings attached, Sharon (Candice Bergen) is still working through her decades-old divorce, and Carol's (Mary Steenburgen) marriage is in a slump after 35 years. The lives of these four lifelong friends are turned upside down after reading the infamous "50 Shades of Grey," catapulting them into a series of outrageous life choices.

The Writer & Director for Book Club, Bill Holderman, is stepping into the Director's chair for the first time with this film. He has written a script for one other film, A Walk in the Woods starring Robert Redford, Nick Nolte & Emma Thompson.

One of the stars in the film is Don Johnson and the film's central focus is the book "Fifty Shades of Grey". Well...Don Johnson's daughter, Dakota Johnson, stars as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey film and its two sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.

Is this film for But it does have a slew of older actors, all with name recognition that will appeal to a certain demographic. There is a cute fun story behind this film and if a dirty S&M book like  "Fifty Shades of Grey" drive older and younger woman wild, then this movie can strike an accord with them too.
