Thirty-something Bogdan has started a furniture company, gotten married and had a child. Now he is spending a holiday with his family by the Black Sea and his wife is expecting another baby.
At the resort he meets two classmates from secondary school who have yet to settle down and take up their responsibilities.
Boogie (as the protagonist was called in his school days) gets into an intellectual and emotional confrontation with Sorin and Vali after an evening spent in a restaurant, bowling hall, bar and at the guest house with a prostitute. Trying to get back to their teenage years leaves a bitter taste in their mouths as all three have changed, Bogdan in particular on account of his obligations.
