On the Night Before Christmas, a somewhat peculiar visit by Father Christmas takes care of a few unresolved family issues. He drops down from above and stirs up Christmas Dinner for a middle-class family, comprised of Uncle, Aunt, nephew and niece. The diners, religious and devout, follow the Church's orders by the letter, forgetting the real values in life. Young Father Christmas grants wishes for Alex, a young boy forced to live with his ruthless uncle and aunt. Through lies and deceit, pungent remarks and a mysterious past, he will give Alex his freedom back, and 'sort out' the rest of the family.
