Brothers Chris (Clive Owen) and Frank (Billy Crudup) are reunited after Chris's early release from prison. Though working on different sides of the tracks with Frank an up and coming police officer and Chris an ex-convict, Frank still works to integrate Chris back into society. Things go awry, however, when Chris slowly finds himself pulled back into the life of crime.
