Mikayla is just like any other normal 17-year-old girl with a crush, but unlike other girls Mikayla has over 2,000 Bible verses memorized, and the object of her affection is her Bible Quiz team captain JP. Last year JP placed third nationally, and now, in his last year, he wants his church to win. In order to succeed, the Life Center Quiz Team must compete against thousands of other teens from across the US, including their biggest rival, Cedar Park. Mikayla hopes that if she can lead the team to victory she will find what she lacks in her own dysfunctional family and win the ultimate prize: JP’s love.
