Marla Singer wants to leave the past behind: Her parents died in a car accident and she has to return from abroad to overlook the family house’s selling. A party with old friend shall distract her. But after defacing the difficult party guest Jean, he brings up a mysterious drug, which sends Marla into a nightmare deep into the woods. After her return over a creepy bridge, she awakes in the seemingly reality. But night after night, disturbing observations in the abandoned house make Marla question her sanity. Is this all the aftermath of a bad trip? Meanwhile, the renascent relation to her ex-boyfriend ERIC comforts her. But the words of a strange bridge girl who enters her dreams and inexplicable discoveries in her otherwise well known home make it harder and harder to dismiss her experiences as mere delusions...
