Featurette - Sneak Peek

Composer Alan Menken is returning to score the film's music, which will feature songs from the original film by him and Howard Ashman, plus new material written by Menken and Tim Rice...three new songs. The film will also feature a new version of "Beauty and the Beast" sung by Ariana Grande and John Legend. On top of that Céline Dion will also return, she sang the original title track, and she'll be performing one of the new original songs "How Does a Moment Last Forever" to play over the end credits.

Here is a list if Director Bill Condon's previous films:
Mr. Holmes
The Fifth Estate
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
Dreamgirls
Kinsey
Gods and Monsters

So, Director Bill Condon has previously worked on two musicals before Beauty and the Beast: Chicago (Writer) & Dreamgirls (Writer and Director).

Walt Disney Pictures has saved the best for last. This is supposed to be the final trailer and it is by far the best. There is a lot of new footage!

The other trailers only showed us footage from castle and right from the start we get our first glimpses at what the village where Bell lives will look like. We also get to see more of Gaston...who does not like that scene where he is talking to the most gorgeous thing he has ever seen...himself.

It is very interesting to see where they take parts of the story into a different direction from the original Disney animated film. I think this is a good thing that the live action adaptation is not an exact copy.

The visuals look amazing and when you hear "Tales Old as Time" you immediately get a nostalgic feeling. I think Ariana Grande and John Legend sound amazing together singing the song and cannot wait to hear what the new songs will sound like.

I am still apprehensive about Disney making these classic films into live action films other than them being purely money makers. I hope Disney will surprise me and deliver a film that justifies the remake.
