Back Issues: The Hustler Magazine Story Red Band Trailer (2014)

Red band trailer for Back Issues: The Hustler Magazine Story is almost exactly like the trailer, but does feature R-rated content bordering on X-rated thanks to screenshots of actual photos directly out of the magazine. Documentary attempts to take an inside look at what made Hustler the most notorious dirty magazine of all time.

While the assumption is that Hustler editor Larry Flynt was shot strictly for running a pornographic magazine, that couldn't have been further from the truth. Flynt (and his lawyer) were the targets of serial killer Joseph Paul Franklin. A white supremacist, Franklin typically targeted mixed racial couples, but turned his attention to Flynt after Hustler displaying interracial sex.
