Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and the untitled Avengers sequel (2019) are two-part finale films, but not in the same vein as previous two-part films like Harry Potter, Twilight, and The Hunger Games. Instead of one story being told with a cliffhanger at the end the first part, Infinity War and the untitled sequel will have two very different stories that complement each other - each of which revolving around Thanos and the Infinity Stones/Gauntlet.

Filming began on January 2017 and wrapped in January 2018. This film and an untitled Avengers sequel (2019) were shot back-to-back.

According to Kevin Feige, the Avengers are expected to have a "shakeup" in their team lineup between Infinity War (2018) and the untitled Avengers sequel (2019). In other words, the roster will be different from the prior two Avengers films.

WOW, what a trailer! It must be a daunting task to try and fit in as many of the 64 main characters we will see in this film and still try and get some parts of the story line across. We get to see many new things here that we did not see in the first trailer.

There are many parts that stand out, but I loved the scenes with Peter Quill telling Tony Stark that his plan sucks...two egos going head to head. I also loved the scene with Thanos grabbing the little girls hand of what looks like a similar species to Gamora (his other adopted daughter). And then Marvel does what it does best in most of its trailer, it ends with a hilarious scene. The first trailer had the arrival of the Guardians of the Galaxy team, and this time we get a funny scene between Spider-Man and Dr. Strange.

Do I think Marvel needs to convince many of its fans to see this film with an amazing trailer...no. But, they sure did a great job anyways!
